COMPETITION TERMS
ABSOLUT THE MAP (the “Competition”)
1. Organizer: The organizer of the Competition is Pernod Ricard Sweden AB (”Organizer”, “us” or “we”) with the address 117 97 Stockholm, Sweden. For any inquiries, please contact us via email at kundservice.se@pernod-ricard.com.
2. Competition Period: 2025-05-08 to 2025-08-31
3. Eligibility: To participate in the Competition, you must reside in Sweden and be at least 20 years old.
4. No Purchase Necessary: You do not need to purchase or order any products or services to participate in the Competition.
5. How to Enter: To participate in the Competition, create your own version of a Passionstar Martini using a vodka from the Absolut product range, take a picture of your creation, name it, upload the picture to the Competition website and fill in the associated form. The entry must be compliant with mandatory law and Pernod Ricard’s Code for Commercial Communications (available here). The entry cannot include the word porn. If your entry is incompatible with the foregoing, incomplete or if we are missing certain information at the competition’s end date, you will not be able to participate in the competition. Entries received will be considered final by the Organizer. The entry period is between 8 May 2025 and 16 June 2025. Late entries may not be accepted.
6. Selection of Winners: There will be a total of five winners of the Prize (defined below). The top three entries, based on a weighted result of the most votes and the highest rating by the general public, at the end of the Competition Period wins. Two additional winning entries are selected by a jury appointed by us. The jury will appoint these two winners based on the visual and written presentation of the entry. The winners will participate in the ABSOLUT The Map Final, held in Stockholm by the end of October 2025 (the “Final”), see Section 9 below.
7. Entry Limit: Only one competition entry per person is allowed, and a maximum of five entries per establishment. Surplus entries will be disqualified.
8. Winner Notification: Winners will be contacted personally via the email provided as part of entering the Competition. If the winners do not respond within five (5) days of the email, the prize will be awarded to the next runner up. The results will be published on Absolut.se and pernodricard.se in September 2025. Unsuccessful entrants will not be notified directly.
9. Prizes: A total of 5 winners will be selected. The Prize is a visit to Stockholm for two nights with travel (only within Sweden), food and accommodation paid for, to participate in the Final. The visit will also include an excursion to Absolut’s offices in Stockholm and inspirational visits to selected bars in Stockholm.
10. Final: There will be one winner of the Final. The winner will be decided by a jury appointed by us. The winner of the Final will receive the opportunity to do a guest shift at a bar during 2026 and a trophy.
11. Taxes: The winner is responsible for paying any taxes that may arise as a result of the prize, including but not limited to, income tax on the value of the prizes.
12. Non-Transferable: The prizes cannot be replaced, transferred or changed. It is not possible to exchange the prize for cash.
13. Ineligibility: Employees of the Organizer and their spouses and children are not allowed to participate in the Competition.
14. Liability: Organizer is not responsible for the consequences of competition entries that have disappeared, been sent incorrectly, in violation of these Competition Terms, or been delivered too late to Organizer. Organizer is also not responsible for any technical difficulties such as an incorrect email address being provided or problems that may affect either the registration or the final result of this competition. Organizer assumes no liability for entries or participants of the Competition.
15. Disqualification: If we consider that you or your entry are in breach of these Competition Terms, or if we have grounds to suspect any entrant or third party of cheating, deception or fraudulent or unsportsmanlike conduct of any kind (including, without limitation, manipulating the Competition, choice of winner(s), any voting mechanism or any entry), without limiting the options available to us, we reserve the right in our sole discretion (and without us incurring any liability) to disqualify any entrant, entry or person we reasonably believe to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity. We also reserve the right to disqualify you from the Competition (without us incurring any liability) if in our reasonable opinion you conduct yourself in a way which is abusive or which exposes you or others to any medical, security, safety or similar risk whatsoever (including if you are intoxicated or abusive in any way). We further reserve the right to disqualify you from the Competition (without us incurring any liability) if you are in breach of mandatory laws or Pernod Ricard’s applicable policies or codes, including but not limited to, the Pernod Ricard Code for Commercial Communications. You agree that you will not do anything which is likely to bring us or any of our competition partners into disrepute or which might adversely affect our reputation or the Competition. If you are disqualified prizes may be withheld or withdrawn. You will not be compensated and you may be required to pay any costs incurred. Another entrant or winner may be selected at our discretion to take part in the Competition and win the prize(s).
16. Data Protection: Personal data will be collected and processed in accordance with the Organizer’s Privacy Policy. At any time you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection by contacting us at prne.legal@pernod-ricard.com. You also have a right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority in your location.
17. No Endorsement: This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram/Facebook. Any questions, comments or complaints from entrants should be directed to the Organizer at the address listed above and not to Instagram. By entering into this Competition, each entrant agrees to release and indemnify and keep indemnified Instagram from and against all liability and forever forego and abandon all rights and causes of action against Instagram arising as a result of the Organizer conducting this Competition. Entrants must ensure that they comply with Instagrams own terms and conditions and do not submit entries which may breach these terms and conditions or local laws.
18. Intellectual property: All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries, such as photos, texts or videos, become and remain the property of the Organizer upon receipt by the Organizer or their agents. Each entrant waives all and any moral rights and any other similar rights which may be vested in the entry. Each entrant acknowledges that they have no obligation to be accorded credit or acknowledgement in respect of their entry content. Organizer shall have full discretion to edit the entry material and transfer or license it to their affiliated market companies or any other third party.
19. Use of Name/Likeness: As a condition of entering this Competition, entrants consent to the Organizer and their affiliated market companies using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice featured in their entry videos (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing this Competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products or services manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Organizer. Each participant in the Final agrees to participate in all reasonable promoted activities in relation to this Competition as requested by the Organizer and their agents.
20. Governing Law: These Competition Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, Stockholms tingsrätt being the court of first instance.
21. Modification of Terms: Organizer reserves the right to amend these Competition Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on the competition’s website and will take effect immediately upon posting.
22. Acceptance of Terms: By participating in the Competition, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Competition Terms.
